The simple things....

It really is the simple things in life that are important...This is my baby girl Isabelle (Belle) hanging out at her grandparents...Jumping in the leaves, Do you remember it when you were little? The simple joy that we all got as children and the happiness it brings to our own children it is so simple. Over and over we raked the leaves into a colorful pile and they ran and dove into them as happy as could be...It didn't cost a penny and it brought so much excitement and memories that will last a lifetime....Krista

Oh! the weather outside is frightful but.......

My wonderful friend Regina Easter whom I design for was quoted saying about our projects this week for BBTB "AW....there is NO place like HOME....so very true especially around the holiday season"...Isn't that sooo how we all feel! Snowflakes are gently falling...

My Blog is beginning to look a lot like Christmas....I just luv this time of year....This card makes me think of "chestnuts roasting on a open fire...Jack Frost isn't yet nipping at my nose"...But will be very soon the weather is changing fast...Anywho I made this card for my design team

I Love Hot Cocoa

Hello Everyone!

I made this little sleeve that holds the OH So Yummy hot Cocoa....The weather here is sooo terrible..It has rained for like 4 days non-stop...I thought I would make a little Christmas project..LOL...I don't know about you but when it is rainy and cold a hot cup of cocoa with whipped cream is sooo relaxing...Hugs, Krista

Just thinking....

All of my favorite holidays are approaching so quickly....Makes you sit and think about how fast life comes at you...First my favorite holiday is Halloween.. not the scary part of it but the beautiful colors of the trees, the crisp apples, the wool sweaters, My children and I take long fall walks and while I am pushing Aiden in his stroller and Belle is hopping along side us picking up colorful leaves ranging in many beautiful Fallish colors, greens, reds, yellows, browns, and many more I can't help but feel so lucky to have two beautiful healthy children and a husband that works very hard to provide for all of us.....Before I know it Thanksgiving and Christmas will be approaching...Now this is my husband's favorite time of year...I can remember when we first started dating and our first Christmas together we were at his apartment and we had Christmas music playing and we were trimming the tree....He was totally into it...(So cute)..Now..12 years later here we are 2 kids, a 9 year wedding Anniversary in October......Welp, I guess I am feeling sentimental tonight...Stop back by as I have a really cute creation I made for the Design team BBTB...Regina usually post them on Sunday night so I will be able to show you after that...I am happy with how it turned out...Hugs, Leave me a comment if you have time they really do brighten my days...Krista

A gift from God...

So my little Belle started first grade..I still can't believe it. I remember the day I held her in my arms for the first time...A true gift from God. The bond I share with my children is so special to me..I have noticed lately how grown-up she is..It is a catch 22 actually..The need for her to be my little girl still remains, but the joy I see in her eyes as she discovers new and interesting things about life brings me joy and happiness as well...This is a picture of her on her first day of school. She usually has to wear uniforms because she attends a private school so this was a huge treat to be able to wear regular cloths on the first day of first grade.
