Happy Halloween...

Last night I was laying in bed and thinking, now sometimes this is a good thing and sometimes this is a bad idea...I guess it really doesn't matter if it is a good or bad thing because most of my days are taken up with my two small children 7 and 3. Do I have much time to think during the day? hmmmm! No.... Anybody that has children or has had young children at some point in their lives know exactly what I am talking about....LOL....
I have been searching for the perfect ENT for my daughter. This has been very stressful and very worrisome for me. The last doctor I took her to scared me half to death telling me how very painful having ones tonsil and adenoids removed is going to be for my daughter. I appreciate the honesty, but my goodness I am already freaking out about this, could he have been a bit more sensitive? I tell ya I would personally go through this surgery for Belle if I could..Sadly I can't. I have finally found a ENT about 40 mins from my home that specializes in children only. I have heard that there is a new technique that is less painful without actually cutting them out but using CO2 Laser surgery...Guess what? this doctor I found doesn't do this technique! Geez! I need prayers...
Being a mom is so rewarding to me, but also can be very hard at times like these. I guess this to shall pass. Anyhow, Just my thoughts for today, I feel a little bit better getting this off my chest. Also, if you read my blog and your child has had this done, If you have words of wisdom or encouragement send them my way, I would love to hear from ya!...Anyhow, here is my project for
BBTB this week. Hope you like it...If you read this whole post sorry so long..Hugs,

Fab tag Krista and love all the detailing.

My eldest son had his tonsils & adenoids out when he was 5 and have to say the ENT specialist was superb. Explained everything and actually went out of his way to make sure Luke was comfortable . . was also very indulgent to us over protecting parents too!

Hope all goes well for you and your daughter.

Don't worry - Jacob had his tonsils, adonoids out and gromit in when he was just 2 - it did hurt him but is so much better for having it all done. He was in so much agony before with lots of horrid ear and throat infections and now he is just fine!!!
