Welcome to
BBTB2~~~~ I am your host this week, I decided to choose the skate off of Winter Woodland. When I was little, my Dad, would take my sister and I skating at a local park in our city. The beautiful pond would freeze over and glisten with snow. We would go inside this small little building to get warm and my Daddy would make sure to get us a nice warm hot cocoa to warm up. Sure brings back lots of fun memories. I wanted to create a little scene like the one I remember. This particular park in my city is the most beautiful ever. All around it are gorgeous and cozy homes with all kinds of people skating, sledding and just enjoying eachother in the Winter... I hope you have time to make your own project this week using skate/skates off any cart. Thanks for taking your time out of your busy day to stop by....Happy New Year Friends~~~~

Hi sweet friend! I just love the challenge you picked. I absolutely adore your card. What a sweet little bunny, and the color and paper is fabulous! XOXO
Cute card, Krista. Thanks for picking such a great challenge. Just perfect for the beginning of January.
Awe Krista! What a lovely memory! Your project so perfectly captures that memory... Thanks for sharing with us and thank you for selecting this ice skate cut!
xx Susan
Krista, I love your darling little winter scene... I am AZ born so I grew up as an avid roller skater ...and I only ice skated once when I was about 16. What an adventure.
Happy New Year, girl.

Love your story, Chickie and the wonderful challenge! We sure both have fond memories, don't we? We had a local park that had a little building too. There was an ice rink there as well and it was another of our special places. Your snowy scene is just charming and it takes me back as well. Happy New Year, Sweetie. Oh, and BTW, both hubby and I graduated from MSU and I still have a cousin in Lansing. David's from Muskegon and my Mom was from the UP. Don't get back very often anymore, but it still seems like home, even after 32 years in CA. xxD
