For my Doodlebug~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Today was one of those days where you sit and reflect....I thought about how very lucky I truly am to have such a caring and helpful husband. The hard times I have been through this past year just knocked me right down. Without the support and patience and love from my husband I wouldn't have known what to do? I do have some wonderful friends, but I also have some that have made me question if they were really friends in the first place. My own idea of a true friendship is that one should love and cherish you when your at the hardest place in your life, (when you are the hardest to love,) because that is when people that are having such a bad time need you the most. I continue on my healing everyday, God, My husband, my two beautiful children love me unconditionally...It is coming up next week the day of the death of my sweet stepmother who passed away two months before my Daddy. Married 21 years and like soul mates. The love and dedication that they had for eachother was so sweet. I miss them both still so much, but they are exactly where they need to be. (Together!)  I am sorry to ramble on about this, but I find writing about it helps heal my heart. Thank you so much for all your prayers and love...
Now it is time for a change of pace...It is BBTB2 time! The challenge this week was to use the Ladybug from Boys will be Boys...Heather Binnie our Leader... picked this cut...I didn't have this cart so I used Kate's ABC..This cart is so cute, It is for sure going to be one of my Fav's...I hope you like that I used a canning jar cut to keep the little bug in her home...I cut the jar out of acetate...Cute Huh? I loved using my Basic Grey papers, Martha Stewart Punches, and that ribbon is so Yummy...I also threw in some of my favorite Papertrey Jute and buttons..You have to look real close to see Ms. Ladybug herself in that Jar...Thanks from the bottom of my heart for stopping by...Tight Hugs.....

You know what...I needed to read that. I am struggling a bit lately and sometimes when that happens you push the good back a bit, or just let yourself be mad, whatever...I needed a little bit of a reminder so I appreciate you opening up. I really do!
The card is DARLING and that's one of my most fav carts too!
Thanks so much for sharing, your thoughts today and the card!!!

Oh I just absolutely LOVE this card Krista and the canning jar is such a cute element added to it, just perfect! My son loves to steal my canning jars in the summer and is always catching bugs in them, ladybugs, lighting bugs, praying mantis, little treefrogs and we even found a stick bug one time (very cool looking), we always let them go right before it gets dark tho! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, I've been there too so I think I understand some of it, I'll continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I was wondering where that sweet little bug was from. Adorable and almost couldn't see the jar in the pic but bet it looks just fabulous in person. You know, I'd love to say that time heals all wounds, Krista, but I've found from my own experience that you never really get over losing your loved ones. Thinking or talking about my Mom and Dad still brings tears to my eyes and I think it always will. (It's been 16 years for my Mom, and 6 for my Dad). The love and support from family and friends is precious and theraputic, and knowing in your heart they are together and happy helps, but sometimes you just need a good cry. Big hugs, Sweetie! xxD

Krista, your card is just so sweet. I love the colors and details you put into it. Your words were very touching and did really make me stop and reflect. It's so hard to lose a loved one. Everytime I read you talk about your dad my heart goes out to you and I want to reach out and give you a HUG.
